So groovy. So malaise. So BRITISH.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

(Was it just compulsory for every British car in the Seventies to come with a vinyl roof?)

And here’s an Australian car with a British badge. It counts.

I’ll take the red one up top, but only if it has less than 100 horsepower.

I have history with the first and last cars - Ford TC/TD Cortina and the Leyland P-76. All owned by friends. Each car (and all friends) utterly hilarious in their own way. The Cortina station wagon version was brilliant...

Kinja'd!!!

Mind you when the P76 had a nicely fettled 4.4L Rover V8 in it...it was bound to be hilarious! If only they had released the station wagon version...

Yes!

All bar the Dolly Sprint* & maybe the P76 with the 4.4l are pure, unadulterated automotive stodge perfectly befitting the insular, failing British economy at the time.

*Only the Sprint version, the lesser ones were stodge-city-central-station as well.
